VHS is looking for a qualified Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care Unit.

- Description: Summary: -Neurosurgery/Trauma ICU management of emergency surgery patients that are brain neck and spine surgeries. NP with neuro-trauma and/or neuro-critical care background/experience Rate Caps for Submission: Malpractice – Must be included in rates. Orientation – 85-97.50 - half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. “Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours” Hourly – 170-195 - “Per hour not OT” Holiday – 255-292.50 - Must be 1.5x the hourly rate. “Per holiday hour no OT” Schedule/Availability Requirements: 10 hour day shift no call 7a-5pJan 6-29 Feb 3-25 March 3-4 March 9-18 March 23-29 April 7-12 April 20-26 May 4-13 May 18-27 June 1-7 June 15-21 June 29 ongoing Facility Location: Redding CA Setting: Level II Trauma Center FTE: Duties: Required Procedures: Low/moderate risk procedures such as laceration repair IV access/IV insertion-peripheral line fracture and dislocation reductions minimal/moderate displacement. High risk procedures: G-tube placement endotracheal intubation cardioversion/defibrillation LMA paracentesis chest tubes central and arterial line placement. EMR: Cerner Care B Support Staff: Reason for Coverage: Gaps in coverage Travel Preferences: Preferred Lodging: Please see attached must align with Travel Policy Air Travel: Local no flights? Preferred Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation. Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission. Credentialing Information: Timeframe: 30-60 days from receipt of FULLY completed application Requirements: Must be on active staff at a TJC accredited facility with unrestricted privileges NOT just working as a locums with privileges Credentialing with other facilities? No Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less?: No Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:Average Number of ICU Patients per Provider per day: 15-20 patients on service per day **MSO requires the application completed within 3 days of being confirmed despite the start date!**
