• Coverage Type: Clinical only
• Shift Schedule: 8a-8a
- 24-hr shift; max. of 24 hrs in a row
• Admissions Required: Yes
• Rounding Included: Yes
• Patient Volume: 20
• Patient Demographics: required to see peds also
• Support Staff: 3 RNs
• Duties: APP would be covering solo with MD call support; APP would be in-house for entire shift/ possible housing available if wanted to stay between shifts.
• Procedures: I&D, precipitous deliveries (rare but on call MD would be available for additional support if time allows), lac repair, fracture stabilization, chest tube placement & intubation.
• Beds in the Dept: 3
• EMR: Cerner
• Other Info:
- Level 1: Highest level of acuity provider will treat.
- If APP requires Cerner training, must arrive in Cut Bank (which is 2 hrs from Great Falls Airport) at 1p the day prior for training; If day prior lands on a weekend, will look at doing Virtual Training on a weekday prior to starting shift.
• Temporary Privileges available: Yes
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
• Active MT license (or IMLC)
• BC/BE
• DEA (registered in MT at all times during employment)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS; ATLS (or equivalent)
• At least 3 yrs of EM experience
