A great locum PRN opportunity for an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner in a rural critical-access environment. This role requires confidence practicing independently and managing both ED and Med/Surg patients.

🏥 Role Responsibilities
- Function as sole provider on shift
- Coverage includes ED + Med/Surg
- No outreach, no telehealth
- Team Support:
- 1 provider on duty
- 2 RNs
- 1 Paramedic (CNAs occasionally)
- Procedures: Emergency care, inpatient, skilled care
- Equipment/Services Available: Imaging, Lab, Pharmacy
- Average Volumes:
- ER: ~3.6 patients per day
- Med/Surg: ~1.4 patients
- EMR: EPIC
- Temp Privileges: Available
✈️ Travel Reimbursement
- Flights, Lodging, Rental Car, Mileage reimbursed
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified – Required
- Active IA License – Required
- DEA + CSR – Required
