JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active Texas license required
  • Board Certification: NP ANCC or AANP; PA NCCPA
  • DEA: Active DEA required
  • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP
  • Experience: ED/ER experience preferred
  • Other Qualifications: Competent with T-System documentation; ability to work 12-hour shifts and function independently in a Level IV ED

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide direct Emergency Department patient care within scope of practice
  • Perform evaluations, treatments, and procedures appropriate to credentialing
  • Participate in formal triage system and support ED workflow
  • Coordinate patient care with specialty backup and hospital services
  • Accurately document all patient encounters in T-System
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and scribes to ensure efficient throughput
