Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the sole provider in the emergency department
- Round on patients and provide comprehensive emergency care
- Stabilize patients for transfer when necessary
- Respond to a broad range of acute and urgent care cases
Additional Information
- South Dakota NP license required
- Board certification required in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Rural emergency department and sole provider experience preferred
- EMR system: Other
