Schedule: Full-time nights, 3×12s weekly (7:00p7:30a, includes sign-out)

Setting: Multi-specialty med-surg community hospital ICU
Patient load: Typical 1015 ICU pts per APP (attending MD also available)
Local candidates preferred/required
EMR: Cerner
Key Responsibilities:
Manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU
Collaborate with attending MDs; develop and update plan of care
Perform ongoing assessments; implement interventions
Order entry and documentation of H&Ps, Consults, Event/Follow-up & Procedure notes
Interpret diagnostics; coordinate with ICU nursing
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds each shift
Perform invasive procedures: central lines (CVLs/vascaths/introducers) and arterial lines per MSO credentialing
Qualifications:
NPs must be Acute Carecertified (ACNP); PAs with equivalent scope
Active national certification and state licensure (or ability to obtain)
12+ years ICU APP experience
Demonstrated proficiency with central and arterial line insertions (case logs required during credentialing)
