- Other Details: This Emergency Department Overflow opportunity requires providers to offer flexible coverage for at least 13 shifts per month, with shift options including 8a–8p, 10a–10p, 11a–11p, and 12p–12a on both weekdays and weekends. Eligible candidates must meet one of the following: completion of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in family practice, emergency medicine, or medicine/pediatrics with recent active practice within the last two years; current enrollment with successful completion of at least one year in an approved postgraduate training program in a general primary care specialty with Residency Director approval; or one year of approved postgraduate training in a general primary care specialty with at least two years of active full-time practice. Additional requirements include an active state license, OBNDD and DEA with CNHS address (must obtain if not current), and submission of procedure logs. Providers must be able to manage adult and pediatric patients in an overflow setting, with pediatric experience required, and may be expected to complete medical records, training, and attend staff meetings. BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required, while prior Cerner and ED experience are preferred but not mandatory; new graduates with ED clinical rotations may also be considered. The department has 17 beds with patient ratios of 1:6 or less.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage clinical duties, complete medical records, attend training, and participate in staff meetings
* Support overflow patient care while maintaining safe patient ratios of 1:6 or less
Qualifications
* Current enrollment in and successful completion of at least one year of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in a general primary care specialty with Residency Director approval, OR
* One year of postgraduate training in a general primary care specialty plus at least two years of active full-time practice in general primary care
* Active state license required
* OBNDD and DEA with CNHS address (must obtain if not current)
* Submission of procedure logs

* Coverage needed weekdays and weekends
Skills
* Pediatric experience required
