Are you looking for a new role in Emergency Medicine? StaffMed Health Partners is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time, permanent emergency medicine position in Southwest Louisiana. This role offers the chance to practice in a busy emergency department with a supportive clinical team, flexible scheduling, and competitive compensation.
Position Highlights:
- Annual volume: ~22,000 visits
- 14-bed emergency department
- Average 50–60 patients per provider/day
- Coverage: 24/7 physician (12-hour shifts) + 12–15 hours/day APP coverage (varied shifts, some double coverage)
- Full-time = 120 hours/month (W2 employment)
- Shifts available: 8, 10, or 12 hours

Requirements:
- Board Certified NP/PA, with active license and prescriptive authority in the State of Louisiana required
- Minimum 1-2 years of emergency medicine or acute care experience preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong ability to work in a high-volume emergency setting
