Required Skills
- Minimum of 12 months of recent clinical experience in urgent care or emergency settings
- Current board certification (Pediatric, Family, or Emergency Medicine) and PA Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in using Epic EMR system
- Ability to independently see and treat all patients in the center
- Excellent soft skills with strong communication abilities
- Capable of performing minor procedures such as I&D, laceration repairs, ear irrigation, and other urgent procedures
- Comfortable managing a patient load of approximately 20 patients per day, with up to 40 depending on site
- Additional certifications in pediatric or family medicine
- Experience with off-site supervision processes
- Knowledge of additional EMR systems or practice management tools
- Ability to support multiple locations within a 65-mile radius
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Pediatric or family practice background preferred
- Previous urgent care or emergency medicine experience is required; new graduates are not considered
- Must be available to start on 12/23/2025
- No travel or overnight lodging reimbursement; mileage only
- Support staff includes center managers, medical assistants, and physician supervision
- Support for minor procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and more
- No call requirements; supervised off-site physicians provide support
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
