About the Opportunity
A highly respected and well-established healthcare organization in Bronx, New York is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its dynamic and expanding urgent care team. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced provider to practice in a traditional urgent care setting focused on delivering efficient, high-quality care to patients of all ages .
This position is being added due to growth and expansion , and is ideal for a provider who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is looking for a flexible schedule — you’d work just three days a week with no weekends or overnights required.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a wide range of urgent and non-emergent medical conditions
Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and incision & drainage
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging
Prescribe medications and coordinate appropriate follow-up
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care
Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems
Work collaboratively with physicians and other clinical staff to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications
Active and unrestricted or eligible New York State Nurse Practitioner license
National Board Certification (FNP or AGNP)
Minimum of 3 years' experience in urgent care or emergency medicine
Proficient in urgent care procedures
Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
Comfortable treating patients of all ages , from pediatrics to geriatrics
