Job Title: Locum – Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Emergency Medicine

Position Overview:
Step into a dual-role opportunity where you’ll oversee a small Observation Unit (2–3 patients) while also assisting in the Emergency Department at a well-respected rural hospital. Ideal for NPs or PAs, this role offers 12-hour shifts and flexibility in a team-oriented environment.

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP – immediate coverage needed

• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM)

• Schedule Flexibility: Must be open to both days and nights

• Observation Unit: Oversee 2–3 patients (single provider coverage)

• Emergency Department: Assist under direct supervision of ED physician

• Annual Volume: Approx. 9,500 patients (26 daily)

• Fast-Track: Not available at this facility

• EMR System: EPIC
