Internal Medicine Physician Needed for Outpatient Primary Care

Coverage Details:

• Dates: ASAP through December 31, 2024
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• Call Schedule: Not applicable

Practice Details:

• Setting: Outpatient, primary care clinic with rural health clinic designation
• Team Composition: 4 physicians (plus 2 per diem) and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day in the outpatient setting
• Operational Details: EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Additional Info: The physician will not be responsible for in-house codes or ER backup. Credentialing process can take up to 60 days. Preference for a local provider, with only mileage reimbursed.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state
• Strong clinical skills and ability to provide comprehensive primary care services
• Experience working in a rural health clinic or similar setting is preferred
