ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Bertie Hospital located in Windsor, NC are seeking a B/C Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient care in their Emergency Department.

One year of ED provider experience required.

  • (12) 12 hour shifts (10am -10pm) per month
  • No call
  • Monthly emergency department census of 950-1,000 patients
  • CT Tech in-house 24/7
  • Support from nearby hospital, ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, in Ahoskie, NC, a 114-bed community hospital with 24 hour hospitalist and radiology coverage
  • Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients to ECU Health Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center located in Greenville, NC

It is closely affiliated with ECU Health Medical Center, a Level I academic medical center, and the telemedicine resources of The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
