A hospital located in Northeastern North Dakota is in search of multiple Emergency Medicine APP's (NP or PA) to provide locum coverage ASAC, ongoing. This opening will offer highly competitive pay.
  • Emergency Credentialing Available.
There are locum needs year-round and providers with either intermittent or consistent availability are welcome to apply!

Expenses Covered: Travel, Lodging, Malpractice Insurance.

Details:
  • Coverage needed ASAP. Urgent needs starting in October moving forward throughout the year.
  • Schedule: 12 hour shifts. 7a-7p or 7p-7a
  • About 30% of the time there is another APP working 11a-11p.
  • 14 days of the month the 7a-7p shift is covered by a Physician.
  • There is only call after 7a-7p shifts. No call after the 7p-7a shifts.
  • Avg # of patients/day: 25
  • Avg # of admissions: 3
  • Adult 85%, Peds 25%
  • EMR: Meditech 6.0
Additional Details/Questions Answered:
  • Any specific required procedures other than general EM? All ACLS required procedures. CRNA available for intubation.
Requirements:
  • Must be confident in emergency room skills.
  • Must do Aval/Avara eCARE - ER can be very busy.
  • Certified AANP/NCCPA
  • Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, DEA
  • COVID Vaccinated
  • Availability stated upon submission
Highly Preferred But Not Required:
  • Active ND license, but will consider providers needing to obtain.
  • PALS - good to have, but not required
  • Clean Malpractice/Background for credentialing
