We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner for a full-time locum tenens assignment in Clifton Springs, New York. This role focuses on outpatient dermatology care, supporting a high-volume clinic with a collaborative team environment.

🔹 Provide patient-centered care in an outpatient setting
🔹 Perform routine dermatology assessments and treatments

🔹 Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff
🔹 Potential float support within nearby dermatology clinics
Schedule & Work Details
📅 Full-Time Coverage (July – January)
🕘 Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
📞 No Call Required
👥 Patient Volume: 25–35 patients/day
🤝 Support: 1 clinical staff per ~12 patients

Job Responsibilities
🔹 Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions in an outpatient setting
🔹 Conduct skin exams, follow-ups, and treatment plans for patients
🔹 Perform routine dermatology procedures as appropriate
🔹 Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR (EPIC)
🔹 Manage a high patient volume (25–35 patients/day) efficiently
🔹 Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff for coordinated care
🔹 Provide patient education on skin conditions, treatments, and preventive care
🔹 Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards
🔹 Float and provide support to nearby dermatology clinics as needed
Qualifications
🔹 Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Graduate of an accredited program
🔹 Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner
🔹 Active New York License (required)
🔹 BLS Certification required
🔹 Minimum 3 years of recent dermatology experience
🔹 Proficiency in EPIC EMR system
🔹 Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient management skills
🔹 Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Working Hours
🔹 Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
🔹 Schedule Type: Full-time (5 days/week)
🔹 Call: No call required
🔹 Lunch Break: 30 minutes (standard)
