A Laser and Injectable Nurse Practitioner is a specialized healthcare professional who is trained and proficient in performing cosmetic procedures involving lasers and injectable treatments. This role requires expertise in assessing patients' aesthetic concerns, administering various cosmetic treatments, and ensuring safe and effective outcomes while adhering to regulatory guidelines and best practices in cosmetic medicine.
Job Responsibilities
· Assess patients' skin condition, facial anatomy, and suitability for laser and injectable treatments.
· Educate patients about available treatment options, potential risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.
· Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals, skin type, and desired outcomes.
· Administer laser treatments for skin rejuvenation, hair removal, tattoo removal, and other cosmetic concerns, ensuring proper settings and safety protocols.
· Perform injectable treatments such as botulinum toxin (e.g., Botox), dermal fillers (e.g., hyaluronic acid), and collagen stimulators to address wrinkles, volume loss, and facial asymmetry.
Qualifications
· Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
· Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with specialized training or certification in aesthetic medicine or dermatology
· SC State License.
· Prefer experience with Botox/Dysport, Juvederm/Restylane/Sculptra, Sclerotherapy, Sciton Lasers
Working Hours
Shifts: Monday - Thursday (9am - 6pm)
Friday (9am - 4pm), Occasional Nights and Saturdays.
