Med Ninjas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for short term locum tenens coverage at an acute care hospital facility located in Morgantown, WV
The NP must be available for the complete coverage block from 10/05/2026 to the end of the 2-3 month contract
This assignment includes inpatient ICU coverage, onsite hospital coverage, admissions/consults, central lines/arterial lines preferred, and no on call or weekend.
Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care
Shift: Night, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 7on/7off
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 2-3 months, with option to extend if permanent provider is not hired
Position Details:
Patient Population: ICU patients
Setting: Acute Care Hospital – ICU
Responsibilities: ICU admissions and consults; inpatient critical care coverage
Required Procedures: Central lines/arterial lines preferred but not required
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Backup physician on call; in-house anesthesia
Days Per Month: 7on/7off full-time schedule
On-Call/Weekends: No call; 7on/7off schedule includes nights
Required Procedures and Skills
- ICU admissions and consults
- Critical care experience
- Central line and arterial line experience preferred
- ACLS
- BLS
Requirements
- Board Certification required
- State license required or IMLC
- DEA required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
