Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Mount Sterling, Kentucky
Join a close-knit, established acute care team. You’ll work alongside two physicians and three advanced practice providers, supported by a dedicated clinical performance nurse, in a collaborative environment that truly values camaraderie—both in and out of work.

Qualifications
  • Board-certified or board-eligible Nurse Practitioner
  • Background in family or internal medicine preferred

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and treat complex cases in an open ICU, caring for a diverse patient population
  • Collaborate closely with hospitalist APPs assisting with admissions and inpatient management under physician supervision
  • Participate in monthly team meetings to stay engaged with practice updates, hospital initiatives, and broader goals within Sound Physicians
  • Serve as an active member of the hospital community by participating in committees that help shape operations at this small but dynamic facility
