This is a full-time, on-site role for a Critical Care Night Nurse Practitioner ( #criticalcare , #NursePractitioner) located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex for night as well as PRN positions. The Critical Care Night Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients during night shifts. Daily tasks include assessing and managing patients' critical conditions, performing indipendant advanced procedures such as arterial line placement, Central line , Intubations and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. The role also involves monitoring and evaluating patients' progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform advanced procedures:
o Central line placement
o Arterial line placement
o Intubations
o Chest tube placement
o Dialysis catheter placement
• Manage ICU patients independently, including ventilator and critical care management.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to implement and adjust patient care plans.
• Provide night coverage (with PRN/Locum opportunities available).
Qualifications
Proficiency in advanced procedures such as Arterial Line Placement, Intubations, Central line and dialysis cathter placement.
Qualification as a Nurse Practitioner
Strong skills in patient assessment and management
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work night shifts and provide patient-centric care
Previous critical care experience in a hospital setting is a plus
Current state RN and NP licensure and relevant certifications.
