This is an exciting locum opportunity to work at the top of your license, caring for complex neuro patients in a fast-paced Trauma ICU setting. πͺβ¨
π Role Overview
- π₯ Neuro-Trauma & Trauma ICU management
- π§ Care for patients undergoing brain, neck, and spine emergency surgeries
- π€ Work alongside a dedicated neurosurgical and critical care team
- π« No OR assisting required
β° Schedule Highlights
- π 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM β 5:00 PM)
- β No call
- π Flexible coverage with ongoing availability through the year
π©Ί Clinical Responsibilities
- Manage 15β20 ICU patients per day
- Perform low to moderate-risk procedures, including:
- Laceration repair
- IV access
- Fracture/dislocation reductions
- High-acuity exposure to advanced procedures (performed by appropriate teams)
- π₯οΈ Documentation via modern EMR system
π§ What Weβre Looking For
- β NP or PA with at least 1 year of neurosurgery, neuro-critical care, or neurology experience
- β Board Certified (ANCC/AANP or NCCPA)
- β Active state license
- β ACLS & DEA required (ATLS preferred but flexible for strong candidates)
- π₯ Comfortable in a high-acuity, trauma-focused ICU environment
