• Locum NP coverage for Neuro Trauma / ICU service
• Focus on neurosurgery, brain, spine, and trauma ICU patients
• No surgical assisting required
• EMR: Cerner Care B
• Focus on neurosurgery, brain, spine, and trauma ICU patients
• No surgical assisting required
• EMR: Cerner Care B
Job Responsibilities
• Care for emergency brain, neck, and spine surgery patients
• Perform low to moderate risk bedside procedures
• Manage ICU patients (15–20 per provider per day)
Qualifications
• Active state license
• ACLS required
• ATLS preferred (not mandatory with strong experience)
• DEA required
• Clean malpractice required
• Neuro-trauma or neuro-critical care experience required
Working Hours
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No call
• Coverage needed:
• Jan 6–29
• Feb 3–25
• Mar 3–4, Mar 9–18, Mar 23–29
• Apr 7–12, Apr 20–26
• May 4–13, May 18–27
• Jun 1–7, Jun 15–21
• Jun 29 onward
Skills
• Peripheral IV insertion
• Fracture/dislocation reductions
• Central & arterial line placement
• Chest tube placement
• Intubation, LMA, cardioversion/defibrillation
• G-tube placement, paracentesis
