Join a leading Level I Trauma Hospital in New Orleans as a Neuro ICU APP. This position offers the opportunity to work in a 16-bed closed unit with 24/7 neurointensivist support, caring for complex adult neurocritical patients.
Position Details:

Schedule: 3-12 hr night shifts per week

Patient Population: Adult ICU patients with primary neurologic diagnoses (stroke, TBI, ICH, SAH, seizures, etc.)

Team: Collaborative environment with nursing, respiratory therapy, and attending neurointensivists

EMR: EPIC
Responsibilities:

Manage neurocritical patients, including ventilator and hemodynamic support

Perform advanced procedures (CVC, arterial line, lumbar puncture)

Participate in daily rounds, admissions, and comprehensive care coordination
Requirements:
-
Active or in-process Louisiana license, DEA, and CSR

ENLS, BLS, and ACLS certifications

Minimum 2–3 years of ICU experience (may have flexibility on this)
Credentialing: Approximately 60 days
