- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 1 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 8-12 patients per shift. An experienced, board-certified critical care APP is needed with a background in managing patients in a cardiac ICU, including VA and VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant. The role consists of three 13-hour shifts per week (7 a.m.–8 p.m. or 7 p.m.–8 a.m.) and includes nights, weekends, and holidays through March 2026. Responsibilities involve managing CCU patients under intensivist guidance with duties such as daily rounding, patient management, order entry, admissions, post-operative management, and performing procedures including arterial lines, central lines, Swan-Ganz catheter placement, and IABP removal. Candidates must note that IMLC is not accepted, there are no guaranteed hours, overtime requires administrative approval, and lunch breaks are 30 minutes off the clock with providers required to swipe out and back in.

Job Responsibilities
* Perform daily rounding, admissions, order entry, and patient management
* Provide post-operative care for critically ill cardiac patients

* Assist with management of advanced cardiac support devices such as VA and VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant patients
* Ensure accurate documentation and communication with the care team
Qualifications
* Experience in a cardiac ICU setting
* Proficiency in advanced cardiac critical care management (ECMO, LVAD, Impella, transplant)
* Active state license (IMLC not accepted)
* Strong background in invasive procedures

* 30-minute lunch break required to clock out and back in
* No guaranteed hours; overtime must be pre-approved by administration
