We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our inpatient surgical team. This role includes performing consultations, managing inpatients, conducting bedside procedures, providing wound care, and supporting clinic coverage. The APP will serve as a practitioner, educator, mentor, and collaborator within a multidisciplinary team, delivering care across the lifespan—from neonates to geriatric patients.
Schedule & Coverage:

Maximum: $74.90/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans; perform exams, order tests, and interpret results.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care, orders, and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with medical, nursing, and ancillary staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Education: Provide patient and family education on care plans and preventative health.
- Safety: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and report concerns as needed.
- Team Leadership: Serve as a resource for staff and lead by example with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Education: Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant (required).
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Certifications: CPR, ACLS/PALS, State Licensure, DEA Certification (required).
- Physical Demand: Moderate physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Hazardous Conditions: Exposure to chemicals and biohazardous materials; PPE required.
- Annual Leave: 20 days per year (accrued at 6.16 hours per pay period); prorated based on FTE. Eligibility begins after 5 months of employment.
- Educational Leave: 56 hours of paid educational leave per year (non-rollover).
- CME Allowance: $1,110 annually, prorated based on FTE.
- DEA License: Covered by employer upon hire.
- Night Shift Stipend: $100 per night for night shift roles.
- Uniform: Lab coat provided in lieu of scrubs.
- Amenities: Access to provider lounge at main hospital.
- Malpractice Insurance: Fully covered by the hospital.
