• Specialty: Trauma/Critical Care NP/PA
• Providers needed: NPs or PAs
• Target Start Date: 8/6 (all creds documentation would need to be returned by 8/4 to make this work). Provider would need to go through orientation
- The goal would be to start by 8/6 with temporary privileges. However, there is a chance that the creds could take 30-45 days to complete.
• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off 7a – 5p
• Job Details:
- Busy service line
- Patients per day: 7 – 10
- Never without a surgeon and there are 1-2 other APP providers as well for support
- No call is expected
- WA state-licensed only
- WA DEA
- No procedures or assisting in surgery is required. They will simply be rounding on trauma/critical care patients. Physicians perform procedures
- Rounding and assessing in ER – rounding on patients in the morning, helping with discharge plans, etc
- 2 – 3 years of Acute care / trauma team experience is ideal. The provider needs to be comfortable and able to hit the ground running in a fast paced environment
- Team interviews with the surgeons in the practice
