- Other Details: A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse Practitioner is needed to provide inpatient hospital coverage starting July 6, 2025, through the end of August. The role involves 24-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, scheduled for multiple dates throughout July and August, with an average of 2–3 shifts per week. The position does not require call coverage. The NP will manage 7–15 pediatric and PICU patients daily, ranging in age from 0 to 18 years, in a unit that handles general pediatrics and pediatric trauma, including neurosurgical cases. Candidates must be board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with an active Arizona license, DEA, and certifications in BLS, PALS, and Acute Care. A minimum of one year of PICU experience is required, with proficiency in performing intubations, central lines, arterial lines, and lumbar punctures. The facility uses Cerner EMR. No ECMO, CRRT, or transplant cases are involved.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications
