Job Details:
- Dates of Coverage: ASAP – 6 Months with options to extend
- Setting: Hospital - Nuero ICU
- Daily Responsibilities: include direct care for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures as well as medical neurology patients.
- Direct Care Responsibilities: include admission work-ups, daily management (including complex ventilator management, central lines, arterial lines, and transfer/discharge).
- Other Responsibilities: include student precepting, and support of unit-based nurses.
- Shifts/Schedule Expectations: 3x13s or 7on/7off 13 hour shifts
- State license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
- Acute Care NP certified or NCCPA certified.
- Active New York License
- Arterial/Main Line Placement experience
- Minimum of 3 years critical care NP experience
