In the role of Acute & Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), the licensed and credentialed NP delivers comprehensive healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow-up. Collaborating closely with one or more physicians within the ICU, the NP conducts thorough physical examinations and administers medical treatments under the direct supervision of the attending physician. As a seasoned professional, the Nurse Practitioner assumes responsibility for applying the nursing process, overseeing clinical practices, engaging in research, providing consultative services, fostering inter and intradepartmental collaboration, offering educational support, demonstrating leadership, and managing patient care seamlessly across the healthcare continuum from acute care to discharge.
