Job description
SSM Health Heart & Vascular Care Heart Care | Fenton, MO | SSM Health is recruiting for a full-time cardiology nurse practitioner or physician assistant. This role is critical to improving patient outcomes and reducing hospital readmissions.
Opportunity:
- Join an established and growing department of five cardiologists and three APPs.
- 100% inpatient rounding and stress lab supervision.
- Monday-Friday schedule with no nights or call.
- Optional weekend coverage is available if desired for extra pay.
- Anticipate 5-10 new patient consults and 20 follow-up patients daily, split up between the existing APPs.
- Clinic is attached to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
- Certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
- Active Missouri RN & APRN licensure (NP) or Missouri physician assistant license or ability to obtain.
- Prefer experience in cardiology or new/recent graduates with rotations in cardiology.
