Job description
SSM Health-SLUCare Cardiology, Cardiology | SLUCare is seeking a dedicated full-time (1.0 FTE) experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant. The selected NP/PA will contribute to the expansion of our Cardiac clinic at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cardiology strongly preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with physicians.
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
- Current certification as an RN/APRN or Physician Assistant.
- Possession of, or eligibility for, Missouri RN/APRN licensure or PA licensure.
Position Details:
- Outpatient clinic environment, Monday through Friday, with inpatient rounding responsibilities.
- Independently manage outpatient visitsincluding new consultations and follow-upsas well as provide chronic disease management in heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmia according to scope of practice.
- Participate in an inpatient rounding rotation of 1:4 (one week every four weeks), requiring flexibility based on coverage needs.
- There are no nights, weekends, holidays, or call obligations.
