Job Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner license eligible for practice in Texas
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
- Ability to work consistent overnight and night shift schedules
- Strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced inpatient hospital environment
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Provide overnight coverage as a nocturnist APP in an inpatient hospital setting
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients during night shift coverage
- Collaborate with physicians, hospital staff, and the care team to support patient care needs
- Respond to changes in patient condition and prioritize appropriate interventions
- Document patient evaluations, care plans, and updates accurately and efficiently
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the shift
