Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Location: Prescott, AZ

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No nights, weekends, or on-call)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient cardiac care team in Prescott, Arizona. This role focuses on providing high-quality care to adult patients (primarily 55+) with cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in cardiology, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. This position offers a great work-life balance with no night or weekend shifts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult patients with cardiac conditions

  • Perform physical examinations, patient assessments, and medical histories

  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and procedures

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications

  • Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions and monitor patient progress

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems

  • Adhere to clinical protocols, regulatory guidelines, and best practices

  • Manage a patient volume of approximately 20 patients per day

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program

  • Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)

  • Active Arizona NP license (must be obtained prior to start)

  • Active DEA license

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in cardiology or related acute care setting
