Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Required Skills:
- Current California RN License and Nurse Practitioner certification
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications
- Minimum of 90 days experience in inpatient cardiology or similar settings
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience covering leave of absence (LOA) or temporary assignments
- Knowledge of pediatric cardiology or other subspecialties
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited program
- Previous experience working alongside cardiologists in inpatient or outpatient settings
- Familiarity with advanced cardiovascular procedures (though not mandatory)
Other Requirements:
- Valid California medical license with licensure in good standing
- Ability to travel to support coverage as needed (support staff onsite includes cardiologist and additional clinic personnel)
- Shift schedule: three 12-hour days (07:00 – 19:00), covering a leave of absence period
- Start date: April 27, 2026
- Hourly pay rate of $125.96, inclusive of travel expenses
