Job description
The organization is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join its established cardiology practice in Renton. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a respected regional healthcare system.
This role focuses on outpatient cardiovascular care, supporting physicians in the evaluation and management of adult patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. Experienced cardiology NPs are preferred; however, strong candidates with relevant clinical training will be considered.

Essential Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, including management of hypertension, heart failure, CAD, arrhythmias, and other cardiac conditions
Conduct patient assessments, follow-up visits, and cardiac risk evaluations
Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing (EKGs, stress tests, labs, imaging, etc.)
Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams
Educate patients on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and treatment plans
Manage medication regimens and adjust therapies as clinically appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based cardiac care initiatives
Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Licensure: Active Washington State APRN license (or eligibility)
Certification: Board Certified as FNP or Adult/Gerontology NP
Experience: Prior cardiology experience preferred; strong clinical background required
Skills: Ability to work independently in an outpatient cardiology setting
