Required Skills
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1+ year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
- Strong understanding of general, invasive, and electrophysiology cardiology practices
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
- Ability to manage a busy caseload, assessing 15-18 clinic patients and 8-15 hospital patients daily
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in device clinics or electrophysiology procedures
- Familiarity with hospital-based rotational schedules and inpatient care
- Additional certifications related to cardiology or critical care
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with appropriate specialization
- At least one year of cardiology-specific clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
Other Requirements
- Completion of 4 hours of unpaid EPIC EMR training
- Willingness to undergo orientation, which is compensated at half the hourly rate
- Ability to work four 10-hour shifts per week (0730-1630), with a 50% inpatient/outpatient split
- Work schedule includes weekends, with OT and holiday pay at 1.25x after 40 hours
- Unpaid sick time and licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable
