3-Month Assignment | 4x10 Schedule | Inpatient & Clinic Mix

A well-established cardiovascular program in Coos Bay, Oregon is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 3-month locum assignment with the possibility of extension.

This is a full-time opportunity offering a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology care along the beautiful Oregon Coast.

🗓 Schedule

• Full-time – 80 hours per pay period
• 4 x 10-hour shifts
• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Work week: Sunday – Saturday
• OT eligible after 40 hours

NPs rotate weekly:

• One week inpatient
• One week clinic

🏥 Practice Details

• 50% inpatient / 50% clinic
• 15–18 clinic patients per day
• 8–15 hospital patients per day
• 4 Cardiologists on staff
• Dedicated MA support
• Triage RN team
• Device clinic with dedicated device staff
• Support in general cardiology, invasive cardiology, and electrophysiology
• EMR: EPIC

🔎 Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage cardiology patients in clinic and hospital settings
• Participate in weekly inpatient/clinic rotations
• Collaborate with physicians and device clinic staff
• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care

✅ Requirements

✔ Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
✔ Active Oregon License (or willing to obtain)
✔ Minimum 1+ year experience as a Cardiology NP
✔ DEA (verbal confirmation required at name clear)
✔ Clean background and malpractice history preferred
✔ Recent NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)
✔ Must meet Medical Staff/Allied Health membership criteria
