We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens opportunity in Coos Bay, Oregon. This position offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology care in a collaborative cardiology program supporting general, invasive, and electrophysiology services.
Position Details
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Care
Mix:
- 50% inpatient
- 50% outpatient
- Clinic Volume: 15–18 patients per day
- Hospital Census: 8–15 patients per day
- EMR: Epic
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient cardiology management and consultative services
- See and manage outpatient cardiology clinic patients
- Support general cardiology, invasive cardiology, and electrophysiology services
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic EMR
Requirements
- Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (required)
- Active Oregon Nurse Practitioner license (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum of 1+ year of experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
- Active DEA
