Healthcare United is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well established healthcare group in Huntington, New York. This employed opportunity focuses on a mix of Primary Care and Cardiology patients in an outpatient setting. The position offers excellent work life balance with a weekday schedule, no nights, weekends, or on call responsibilities, and an immediate start date. This role is ideal for an APP with a strong interest or background in Cardiology who values stability and a supportive team environment.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct patient evaluations, follow ups, and ongoing care management
Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and clinical staff
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Deliver high quality, patient centered care
Qualifications
Active New York license or eligibility to obtain one
Strong interest and or experience in Cardiology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team based practice
Working Hours
9 AM to 5 PM standard workday
Optional four day workweek with ten hour shifts
No nights, weekends, or on call duties
Immediate start date available
Skills
Comfort managing both Primary Care and Cardiology cases
Excellent patient communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong organizational and documentation abilities
