We are seeking dedicated Physician Assistants (PA) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) specializing in cardiology to deliver top-quality patient care across multiple locations. This position offers a stable, 13-week assignment with the potential for extension, operating within a supportive environment designed to enhance your professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outpatient clinic visits, seeing approximately 13 patients daily
- Manage 30-minute appointments efficiently within scheduled hours
- Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnostics, and follow-ups
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Utilize electronic health records efficiently and ensure timely documentation
- Uphold patient safety standards and adhere to clinical protocols
Required Skills:
- Minimum of two years of cardiology-focused clinical experience; five years preferred
- Active Oregon (OR) License and OR DEA certification
- Ability to secure clinic privileges quickly (anticipated 30 days)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with payor enrollment processes
- Familiarity with cardiology-specific electronic medical records systems
- Previous outpatient cardiology practice experience
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate degree as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and certification in respective profession
- Prior outpatient cardiology experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Outpatient role only; no inpatient duties
- Availability for 8-hour shifts with no mandatory overtime
- Ability to attend to inbox correspondence during the last 30 minutes of each shift
- Reliable transportation and commitment to providing consistent patient care
Pay Rate:
$1.00 per hour (please include an 8-hour maximum guarantee on bid submissions; no overtime allowed)
