Job description We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in West Virginia. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and spans 84 days, featuring 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off night shifts, typically 13–14 hours per night. Candidates must have Cardiac ICU experience and hold the required certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide advanced cardiac critical care for adult patients in the ICU setting
  • Manage acute and complex cardiac conditions during night shifts
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Respond rapidly to emergent situations and perform necessary interventions
  • Document patient care and clinical decisions accurately and timely

Additional Information
  • Must have Cardiac ICU experience
  • Required board certification: Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC)
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in West Virginia
