Locum Tenens Cardiology NP assignment in Washington! Let's connect!

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA) to provide full-time outpatient cardiology coverage on a locum tenens basis. This role is strictly clinic-based with no inpatient work, procedures, call, or weekends. The provider will focus on follow-up visits, annual cardiology care, acute outpatient visits, and inbox management for absent providers.

Dates / Schedule

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed (up to 90 days)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm

• Assignment Length: 6–9 months

• FTE: 1.0

• Setting: Outpatient clinic only

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient cardiology care to established patients, including follow-up, annual, and acute visits.

• No inpatient responsibilities, hospital rounding, procedures, call, or weekend coverage.

• Manage approximately 16 patient visits per day.

• Conduct inbox management and coverage for providers who are out of office.

• Utilize EPIC EMR for all documentation.

• Work within a collaborative, team-based clinic supported by MAs, RNs, and front office staff.

• Independently assess and manage complex cardiology patients.

• Interpret cardiology imaging and diagnostic tests.

• Position is a backfill for a departing APP.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• WA State License (required)

• DEA and NPI (required)

• Clean malpractice history (highly preferred)

• Outpatient cardiology experience (deal breaker)

• EPIC proficiency (deal breaker)

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently within a team-based model.

• Proficiency in interpreting cardiology diagnostic studies.
