We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in West Virginia. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, with a contract length of 84 days and features a 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off night shift schedule, typically working 13-14 hour shifts from 7pm to 7:30 or 8:30am. The ideal candidate will have prior Cardiac ICU experience and be able to provide high-quality care in a critical care environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide advanced care to patients in the Cardiac ICU setting
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team
- Manage acute cardiac and critical care cases during night shifts
- Respond to emergencies and implement life-saving interventions as needed
- Document all patient interactions and clinical findings accurately
- Coordinate care and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Additional Information
- Must have active West Virginia nurse practitioner license
- Required certifications: Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Cardiac ICU experience required
