Job description
This is a hospital-based position focused on inpatient cardiology care. You will manage cardiology service patients, handle consultations, respond to pages, and provide routine and urgent care-all while being supported by a cardiologist on call for urgent matters. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment, demonstrate confidence working independently, and enjoy collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.
Job Responsibilities
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests; develop and implement treatment plans.
Respond to cardiology consults, pages, and urgent patient needs.
Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and hospital staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document all patient care activities accurately in the EMR.
Educate patients and families on cardiac care, treatment, and follow-up plans.
Qualifications
• Board Certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical knowledge in cardiology or critical care is a plus
• New graduates with a strong interest in inpatient care are encouraged to apply!
Working Hours
Overnight shifts primarily, with occasional daytime coverage (8 AM - 6 PM)
Rotating weekends and holidays (typically 3-4 holidays per year)
