Job description
Seeking a locum NP/PA to support the cardiothoracic surgery team. Coverage includes inpatient rounding, collaborating with surgeons and APPs, and assisting in surgical cases (1 per day potential). Experience with ICU and vein harvesting required. EMR: Cerner.
Job Responsibilities
Perform vein harvesting and assist in arterial bypass and bypass surgery
Collaborate effectively with surgical team and ICU staff
Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and care coordination
Qualifications
Board Certified NP/PA – REQUIRED
Vein harvesting experience – REQUIRED
Clean background – REQUIRED
COVID vaccinated – REQUIRED
DEA (verbal confirmation required) – REQUIRED
Local candidates preferred
Working Hours
Call: 5pm–7am daily
Coverage Dates: 10/13/25–11/7/25 (specific shifts: 10/13–10/18, 10/20–10/24, 10/27–10/31, 11/3–11/7)
Weekend coverage required
