Cardiology ICU NP/PA-C – Houston, TX

Schedule: 12-hour Night Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Paid for 40 hours per week)
Job Summary:
Position responsible for providing comprehensive patient care by systematic assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, and in-hospital follow-up, affecting direct patient care through the disease process according to the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
Requirement:
• AGACNP (Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) or Experienced PA-C with Cardiology / ICU background
• Active Texas NP and/or PA-C license (as applicable)
• National Certification by ANCC, NCC, AANP, or AACN in a relevant specialty
• Minimum 2 years of RN or NP Critical Care experience (Cardiology strongly preferred)
• New Graduate NPs must have 2+ years of ICU Critical Care RN experience
• BLS and ACLS certification – Required
• LVAD and ECMO experience preferred (training provided)
