Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) – Cardiology Clinic
Location: Reno Heart and Vascular Institute – 5390 Longley Lane, Reno, NV 89511
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Reno Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing cardiology team. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to practice in a busy, patient-focused clinic, seeing a minimum of 18 patients per day. While prior cardiology experience is preferred, it is not required for this position. We are looking for a motivated provider eager to contribute to high-quality patient care within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients in a cardiology clinic.
  • Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
  • Perform follow-up visits, manage chronic conditions, and educate patients on cardiac health.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation in the EMR system.

Requirements:

  • Licensed APRN or Physician Assistant in the state of Nevada (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Cardiology experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume patient panel (18+ per day).
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
