Position Details:
Patient Population: Cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients
Setting: Acute care hospital
Responsibilities:

Inpatient management of CVT patients, including pre-, peri-, and postoperative care

First assist in complex CVT surgeries (CABG, valve replacements, etc.)

Daily rounding, ER consults, diagnostic interpretation, prescribing, and care coordination
-
Occasional clinic coverage during 24-hour call shifts
Required Procedures: All first assist procedures for CVT surgeries
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Clinic supervisor, Acute Care Services Director
Days Per Month: 15–20
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call every 3 weeks
Submission Requirements:

Board Certified – Required

NV state license or IMLC – Required

BLS, ACLS, DEA – Required
