A Hospital in Montana in need of a PMHNP
The Psychiatric Stabilization Unit (PSU) is a psychiatric observation unit. PSU Nurse Practitioners (NPs) provide psychiatric emergent assessments in the Emergency Department (ED) and disposition for admission to the inpatient psychiatric units, PSU, or potential discharge from ED.
PSU NPs may admit to the observation unit (PSU) and are responsible for the care of patients in that environment. Currently, the observation area is paused.
Typical volume ranges from 4 – 8 adult patients.
PSU coverage for a Psychiatric NP is Monday nights from 7:00pm – 7:00am.
Will also need intermittent coverage for vacation and sick call on any shifts.
Shifts are 7 days per week, 7:00am – 7:00pm or 7:00pm – 7:00am, No call.
