Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Annual Salary: $140k-$190k (Varies depending on years of experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our client’s growing outpatient cardiology practice in the Queens/Long Island area. The ideal candidate will have experience in stress testing and electrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation and demonstrate a passion for providing high-quality cardiac care. Spanish-speaking fluency is highly preferred due to their diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret stress tests and EKGs in an outpatient setting
• Conduct comprehensive cardiac assessments, patient histories, and physical exams
• Manage and follow up on chronic cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, arrhythmias, and heart failure
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and support staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and medication management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Qualifications:

• Current NP or PA license in the State of New York
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Experience in cardiology required, including proficiency in stress testing and EKG interpretation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in Spanish highly preferred
• EMR proficiency (e.g., EPIC, eClinicalWorks, etc.) is a plus
