Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular in Michigan
Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular
Position Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Michigan
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: 12-hour shifts (day/night combination), 24-hour shift available if interested
Start Date: June 2025
End Date: December 2025 (potentially longer)
Position Details:
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based, CVICU
- Patient Population: Adults (18+)
- Daily Census: 9 patients
- EMR System: EPIC
- Trauma Level: Level II
- Work Autonomously: Yes
- Supervising Physician: Present during the day, available by phone at night
Required Procedures:
- Placement of Central Venous and Dialysis Catheters
- Placement of Arterial Lines and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps
- Chest Tube Insertions
On-Call/Weekends: As needed
Compensation & Reimbursement:
- Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
Requirements:
- Board Certified (AANP) - Required
- MI License - Highly Preferred (Willing to consider those needing to obtain a license)
- BLS, ACLS - Required
- Must have prior experience
